GEMMA FAIRLIE

As a theatre director Gemma has worked throughout the UK and abroad. Her particular passions are Shakespeare, New Writing, Physical Theatre, Circus and Musical Theatre.

 

During her career, as both Director & Associate Director, she has worked for companies including: the Royal Shakespeare Company, the Royal Court, Theatre 503, New Vic Theatre, Pitlochry Festival Theatre, Stephen Joseph Theatre and The Orange Tree Theatre.

In addition to directing, she is also a choreographer, movement director and dramaturg.

 

She graduated from the National Film and Television School in March 2022 from the Directing Commercials course. She has combined her love of working with actors and technical knowledge to move into screen work, creating short and feature length projects with a unique theatrical flair.
